Welcome!

The Michigan Sociological Association (MSA) is a professional association for sociologists dedicated to the promotion and growth of sociologists in Michigan.  MSA members are Michigan professors, graduate students, undergraduate students, and any others with   sociological interests.

The MSA publishes the Michigan Sociological Review (MSR) and sponsors an annual meeting each Fall.

The 2013 annual meeting, Sociology and Social Justice: The Scholar as Activist, will be held October 18-19 at Saginaw Valley State University.  Details on the conference, including the call for papers and list of sessions, can be found on the SVSU 2013 annual meeting page. The deadline for abstracts is September 6, 2013.
